HIGHTEMP’s Steel Ageing is a controlled heat treatment process designed to improve the strength, hardness, and wear resistance of selected steel alloys. After solution treatment or annealing and quenching, the steel is heated to a controlled temperature to promote the formation of fine precipitates within the material. This helps limit dislocation movement, resulting in improved mechanical properties and performance.
