Hightemp has in recent times introduced and installed many  high productivity, low operating cost S-TKM series range of Carburising furnaces (a bridge between batch type and continuous Carburising furnace) for customers in India & Abroad.

Since 2016, Hightemp has installed 3 more lines of pusher type CGC furnaces with Rotary Hearth furnaces for Press Quench with Robotic integration at a Swedish-Italian MNC facility in India

Recently Hightemp has in collaboration with Sanken Sanygo, Japan, has supplied and commissioned 2 installations of Aluminium Tower melting with Holding furnaces to a Japanese automobile manufacturer in Sanand Gujarat

Hightemp has recently commissioned a fully automated Batch type Integral quench furnace line for an Indo-French JV for heat treatment of transmission parts for newly developed small engines.

Supplies of the Continuous Gas Carburising line for the Swedish-Italian MNC have commenced and will be completed by end June, 2015. Commissioning of this line is slated for end August, 2015.

Hightemp has recently supplied Fusing furnace for Spark plugs, for customer in China.

The first indigeneously manufactured Vacuum Washing machine has been commissioned at customer’s site.

Commercial Division

Hightemp Commercial Division is an expansion mode enhancing the capacities in the four heat treatment plants across India by adding 8 more furnaces.

Land has been procured on the outskirts of Bangalore (8 acres), Ahmedabad ( 8.4 acres) and Pune (3.4 acres) for setting up state of the art heat treatment facility to cater to the auto component industries in those areas. All the facilities will be on stream between 2015- 2017.

Furnace Division

Hightemp has received orders for supply of  15 Numbers Sealed quench furnaces from various domestic Indian  customers manufacturing auto components.

Hightemp has also received orders from Japanese auto component manufacturers in India for supply of 2 Numbers Gas Nitriding furnaces, 1 Number Isothermal Annealing furnace and 2 Number  Semi continuous Super TKM furnaces with allied equipment and 1 Number Vacuum Washing machine, indigeneously manufactured based on Japanese design.

Hightemp has also received largest order from Swedish-Italian  multinational in India for the supply of a fully automated Continuous Gas Carburising line for Ring gears and  Gears and  Shafts with  Robotics for  press quenching. This is turnkey project comprising of 2 Continuous Gas Carburising furnaces of 250kgs / hour output with common washer, temper and material handling systems

Received repeat orders from Japanese Fastener manufacturer for supply of furnaces for their plants in Thailand and Indonesia.

Supplied a Continuous Mesh belt furnace line and Sealed quench furnace line for a Japanese Bearing manufacturer in North India.

Received order for supply of Super TKM line from an Auto Component manufacturer for their plant near Bangalore. This is the first Super TKM line being manufactured in India.

Repeat order for supply of Calcining furnace from a Japanese Converter manufacturer for their plant in Gujarat.

Received export order for supply of complementary equipment for the CGC line supplied by DOWA to Japanese auto component manufacturer in Thailand.

Expansion  of facility

HIGHTEMP  has expanded its Chennai  heat treat facility by  augmenting the capacity by adding 2 Gas Fired Sealed Quench Furnaces of 2500kgs gross capacity each.


Certification

HIGHTEMP-Bangalore Commercial heat treat facility has recently been NADCAP certified.
 

Hightemp  has supplied  complimentary equipment  (Tempering and Washing line) for the Continuous Gas Carburising line  supplied  by our principals  to  Auto component manufacturer in Bangalore

Hightemp  will be  supplying the complete heat treat plant for the Indonesia project of their Japanese principals, comprising of 5 Nos. Sealed quench furnaces, Gas Soft Nitriding furnace & complimentary equipment.

Hightemp has been selected  to supply  heat treatment equipment comprising of Gas Soft Nitriding furnace, Sealed quench furnace and  complimentary equipment  to 100% Japanese owned company manufacturing auto components for Two wheeler industry.

Hightemp has received  repeat order for Gas Soft Nitriding furnace  from one of our customer in the South catering to automobile industry. (This is the 3rd furnace being supplied to the same group).

 Apart from the above, Hightemp has also received  orders from different customers for the Auto component industries  for supply  of  12 Nos.  Batch Carburising furnaces.

A seminar on " Advances in Brazing technology" is being organized on the 5th & 6th of March, 2012 at Gurgaon, near New Delhi.

The seminar will examine recent advances in Continuous Aluminium Brazing,
and will cover new fluxing methods, new materials and testing, together with energy saving and production and assembly techniques

Supplier Conference held in Chennai

Hightemp receives an order for Controlled Atmosphere Aluminium Brazing
furnace (CAAB) from a company in Mumbai. This CAAB furnace is with a
revolutionary design, patented by AFC-Holcroft, USA, which does not use a
muffle and the brazing belt is within the furnace chamber, thus the saving
of power up to almost 50%.

Hightemp has also received order for standard controlled atmosphere Sealed
quench furnaces from a reputed manufacturer of Fasteners in South India.
This contract is for 5 Sealed quench furnaces along with complementary
equipment.

Hightemp  Furnaces  Bangalore Commercial  Heat treatment Division awarded ISO/TS 16949 :2009

Hightemp is pleased to announce that their ADI facility in Chakan, Pune is nearing completion.  Facility is on schedule to open in October 2011.

Once the facility is completed, it will be the first large commercial “ADI” facility in India. And it will establish Hightemp as the leader in “ADI” technology.

ADI is an acronym for Austempered Ductile Iron. It is produced by special heat treatment of Ductile Iron castings. ADI castings exhibit twice the strength of ductile iron with improved toughness, wear resistance and fatigue strength. ADI parts are used extensively in automotive, agricultural, mining, construction and railway parts. ADI has successfully replaced forgings, weldments and fabrications.

Hightemp receives an order from a leading vendor of Bajaj Auto for supply of Sealed quench furnace line in Western India  & a repeat order for supply of four Vertical Rotary furnaces from a customer in South India, an OEM for leading automotive manufacturers.

Hightemp has received an order for 1 No. Continuous Mesh Belt Hardening and Tempering Furnace line from one of the largest manufacturers of Bearings, particularly railway bearings, located in North West India.

Hightemp has also received orders for 2 Nos. Sealed quench furnace lines from one of the leading Auto component manufacturers in Eastern & Southern region and an exporter of world class auto components

Hightemp and our Technical licensor Applied Process Incorporation of USA participated in the 59^th Indian Foundry Congress held in Chandigarh from February 11 -13.

In the congress, our licensor from API, John Keough, presented a paper on “Austempered Ductile Iron (ADI) - A Green Alternative for India”.

Hightemp participated at  M&MT International Conference and Exhibition on “World Class Materials and Manufacturing Technologies”, held at Mumbai, on 8^th-10^th March, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre.  The paper titled “Surface Properties Enhancement by the Nitrotec Process was presented by Steve Plumb of TTI, UK.

Hightemp proposes to implement expansion of their Commercial heat treat facilities to meet the increased demand of its customers from the automotive sector.

The plans are also afoot to introduce ADI / Nitrotec treatment in Pune & Gurgaon facilities.

It is also proposed that the component manufacturing division will be expanded to meet the increased requirements of Automotive majors. The total investment proposed for the above expansion is to the tune of Rs.40 crores   (USD 8 million apprx).
